VG2® Cervical Now Offered in Preservon® Fully-hydrated,
Ambient Temperature Storage

preservonLifeNet Health introduces Preservon® ambient temperature storage of VG2® Cervical. This proprietary and patented preservation solution is a glycerol-based technology which is proven to offer the same biomechanical strength, osteoconductivity and biocompatibility as frozen bio-implants.

Preservon storage reduces brittleness associated with some freeze-dried products and maintains osteoconductive properties. Preservon-treated and frozen VG@ Cervical bio-implants have peak failure strengths significantly greater than that of normal cervical vertebral endplate.

VG2® Cervical, the complete cervical bio-implant, is now offered in large sizes to meet the growing demand for the product. The 7o Lordosis and Parallel options are offered in anterior height ranges from 6 mm to 11 mm with L = 14mm and W= 14.5 mm.

VG2® Cervical, is recognized for cortical strength combined with osteoconductivity from its central core. A chamfered profile allows easy insertion, while the textured surface is designed to reduce implant migration. LifeNet Health’s Allowash XG® technology renders VG2® Cervical sterile to the same level as medical devices (10-6 Sterility Assurance Level). Since 1995, LifeNet Health has delivered more than two million allograft bio-implants with no incidence of disease transmission.

VertiGRAFT® is among LifeNet Health’s portfolio of bio-implants most often used in spine surgeries. The bio-implants are available in many sizes and configurations to fit various spine surgery applications.
