Employee Spotlight-Robin Cowherd, Director, Donor Family Services
What began 13 years ago as a part-time job and a professional transition has become a full-time passion for Robin Cowherd. Supporting and honoring donor families is at the heart of Cowherd's work as Director of Donor Family Services at LifeNet Health. The department was created out of the need to build a more comprehensive grief support program for donor families beyond the hospital walls.

Organ Donation & A Life of Greatness
This year, as we prepare to celebrate the holiday season with friends and family, we'd like to say thank you to friends who feel like family to all of us here at LifeNet Health.
LifeNet Health Clinical Services Director Lisa Stanzione met Robbie Key five years ago when Robbie began working at LifeNet Health. The two became friends and Lisa quickly grew to admire her co-worker's humor, kindness and passion for her work. Lisa and her coworkers knew about Robbie's deep concern for her daughter Mandy who at age 19 had been diagnosed with a disease that shut down her kidneys. In fact, shortly before joining LifeNet Health, Robbie had donated a kidney to her daughter but to the family's great disappointment, Mandy's body had rejected it. As Mandy's health deteriorated, so did her spirits.
